Storylines Is Now in Beta
I’ve been working on a new project called Storylines, and it’s now in beta. Storylines is a story organizer for writers. Not another text editor — there are plenty of great ones already. Instead, it gives you the bird’s-eye view of your manuscript. Think of it as the planning table next to your writing desk. You connect a folder with your manuscript files and Storylines takes it from there. It automatically detects scene boundaries, generates titles, and lets you visualize your story across multiple views — timeline, story arc, character tracking, and more. MiniMoments is Finally Done
I’ve been working on MiniMoments for longer than I care to admit. It started as a simple idea. A photo app for kids so they can take pictures without creating chaos in their parents’ photo library. But like most of my hobby projects, it became this endless cycle of “just one more feature” and “maybe I should refactor this part first.” Last week I published it. Anyone who knows me knows I’m terrible at finishing things. I get obsessed with details that probably don’t matter. I’ll spend a weekend restructuring a database schema instead of just building the feature I was supposed to work on. I’ll read about testing patterns for three hours instead of actually writing tests. ...
